Training Services

SAFETY AWARENESS WORKSHOP: A one day workshop that is designed to assist farm owners and managers understand their obligations and requirements in complying with the Occupational Health & Safety regulations. Workshops can be conducted for private organisations or groups of interested producers in an area.

EMPLOYEE TRAINING AND INDUCTIONS:  1/2 day course designed to assist employees understand their obligations and responsibilities under the OH&S Regulations and can be included with worker inductions. This also removes any confrontation or resentment between you the employer and your employees.

Training programs for specialised operations can be written for clients on request.

CONTRACTOR INDUCTIONS:  1/2 Day course to assist your contractors meet the safety standards and requirements of your site.

COMPETENCY ASSESSMENTS: The OH&S Regulation 2001, requires workers to be trained and competent. Australian Farm Safety Co. can provide competency assessments for agricultural based activities which will compliment your compliance and identify any training requirements for your workers.

COMPETENCY ASSESSMENTS INCLUDE:

PLANT OPERATOR TICKETS: The  OH&S Regulations require operators of select machines to be trained, assessed and issued competency certificates. These services are now available at sites suitable to our clients.
